Fire rescue teams responded to a Hialeah apartment complex after flames shot out from a residence, Saturday. According to police, firefighters responded to an apartment on West 42nd Street where they immediately worked to extinguish the blaze. Authorities believe the fire started in the kitchen after it was quickly extinguished. Hialeah Fire Rescue posted photos of the incident on its Instagram profile. The caption read, in part:“… The fire was extinguished without incident and firefighters prevented the spread of the fire to neighboring units. The fire began in the kitchen and the cause is currently under investigation.”

Man set to be arraigned in deadly Nashua, NH double shooting

A Nashua, New Hampshire man is expected to be arraigned Monday in connection with a deadly double shooting late Friday night, officials said.Officers responding to a reported shooting in a parking lot on Maple Street around 10:30 p.m. found Patricia Swett, 45, of Nashua, and Matthew Champagne, 44, of Manchester, dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a statement issued by New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella. Victor Rivera, 47, was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly knowingly causing the deaths of the two victims by shooting them, and for recklessly causing the deaths of the two victims under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, Formell said.He is slated to be arraigned Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District, in Nashua. Wareham police are turning to the public for help as they search for a person who robbed a Subway at gunpoint on Friday morning Officers responding to a reported armed robbery at the Cranberry Highway sub shop around 10:50 a.m. learned a masked suspect had brandished a firearm while telling the workers to open the cash register, according to Wareham police.The person fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.Officers later located a toy revolver wrapped in electrical tape in a nearby roadside ditch.
