Man killed in daytime shooting in Keelesdale neighbourhood

A man is dead after being shot in the Keelesdale neighbourhood of the city. Police say they were called to an apartment building on Clearview Heights, near Eglinton Avenue West and Black Creek Drive, just before 5 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a trauma centre in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead. There is no word yet on any suspect information.

4 teens shot, 1 fatally, in overnight shootings in Chicago

CHICAGO — Four teenagers were shot, one fatally, in multiple overnight shootings in Chicago.According to police, two boys, 15 and 16, were walking on the street just minutes before midnight Friday near the 3700 block of South Wabash Avenue when a group of five to six men approached and fired shots at them. Police said the 15-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to the left foot and was transported to Comers Hospital in good condition.
